1 Oz High Quality Persian / Iranian Saffron (ISO Certified) Review

  • Grade I Coupe Saffron
  • 100% Pure Saffron Threads / Filaments
  • Highest Coloring Strength besed on ISO Standards
  • ISO & HACCP Certified
  • All Red. No Flower Waste (yellow parts) added
Saffron must have the following characteristics to be considered pure and fresh: 1- Saffron threads (filaments) are all vivid crimson color with a slightly lighter orange-red color on the tips. This indicates that it's not cheap saffron that has been tinted red to look expensive. Note: If saffron threads display telltale dull brick red coloring, it's an indication of age and very low quality. 2- Aroma is strong and fresh. 3- No other yellow plant parts (style) should be mixed in with the red threads. Note: The yellow parts are flower wastes and don't have any of the saffron benefits, but they sure do add a lot of dead weight. 4- Saffron threads are dry and brittle to the touch. Note: If the threads are not dry, it indicates that your saffron has a lot of moisture trapped inside, and you will be paying for a lot of dead weight. Not only our saffron meets all the above requirements, but also it goes above and beyond you expectations. NO chemical material was used for cultivation of our saffron. It has NO synthetic pesticides, NO food additives, NO preservative substances, and NO synthetic food coloring, so based on these true facts, we can claim that our Grade I saffron is ORGANIC. It has received ISO, and HACCP International Certificates, so place your order with confidence and enjoy.

Our Persian saffron is regarded as the best the world has to offer and is made up of the red stigmas (filaments) which have been cut and separated from the style prior to drying. So there is no moisture trapped inside to add dead weight and affect the shelf life or its aroma. Our saffron is 100% pure and fresh. Quality of saffron is tied to its freshness and purity. Considering these tow facts, quality saffron contains only saffron threads (stigmas) separated from the style prior to drying. Quality saffron is grade I saffron according to ISO grading standards.
